Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies
Anybody else miss hugs like crazy??? When you need a hug (and don’t we all right now), cookies are truly the next best thing. Hello, dopamine! These salted chocolate chip cookies were the exactly “hug” I needed the other day.
Because I’m not the world’s best baker, I was pleasantly surprised at what a “good bake” I whipped up with these cooks. Paul Hollywood would certainly be proud. A perfect, toasty exterior but chewy and soft, crumby middle, chock full of semi-sweet chocolate chips, walnuts for crunch and a balance of bitter. These ultimate cookies are taken to the next level with flakes of good sea salt for a quintessential salty-sweet bite, as I like to enjoy all my baked goods.
Even though we can’t have hugs right now friends, bake up these cookies and I swear you’ll feel like it’s a hug from me to you. Squeeze!
