Garlic Fries
If you are a baseball fan and you grew up in the Pacific Northwest, there’s a very high chance you are a Seattle Mariners fan. And yes, the Mariners are literally the worst team in baseball - nay, U.S. professional sports (but actually). But if you’re a true Mariners fan, you love them despite their perpetual losing streak and you will always be true to the blue!
And you want to know why we love our boys even though they continue to break our hearts year after year? Well, because that’s what true fans do. And also, because we love going to baseball games at T-Mobile park and eating ALL the garlic fries!
There’s no debate: garlic fries are essential to watching a Mariners game! So what’s a girl to do when she can’t go to a baseball game (like really can’t go because #quarantine)? Make them at home, of course!
I really can’t tell you why I’ve never made my own “homemade” garlic fries at home before because they are so dang easy. Using just a good’ ol bag of frozen crinkle cut fries doctored up with lots of fresh garlic, parsley and seasoning salt, you too can enjoy garlic fries and root on the Mariners, or whatever team you root for, from the comfort of your own home!
Garlic Fries
Ingredients
1 32 oz bag frozen crinkle cut fries (like Ore Ida)
1/4 cup fresh minced garlic (you could chop yourself, but I actually recommend using the pre-minced garlic - this is how they do it at the park!)
2 teaspoons seasoning salt, like Lawry’s or Johnny’s
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions
Cook fries according to package directions. Remove from oven and toss in a large bowl with seasoning salt, minced garlic and parsley. Enjoy!
